| > We are presently in the final postproduction stages of our documentary from Afghanistan, featuring acclaimed writer/explorer Tahir Shah. Three trips to Afghanistan, Pakistan and India has granted us a very rich material and many adventures. that we will shortly let you have a glimpse of (online).
The film "Afghan Gold"/"Afghan Treasure Hunt" (title not final) will be broadcast by FIVE (channel 5) in the UK, SVT in Scandinavia and ZDF in German speaking territories.

| > Writer/exploerer Tahir Shah, together with Leon and David Flamholc were held in solitary confinement for 16 days (July 18 - Aug 3, 2005) by Pakistani military intelligence torture section. Caravan Film are at the moment investigating humanitarian rights and speaking to Amnesty International regarding this case.

| > In the UK, after opening the SHEFFIELD Int. Doc. Film Fest. and a hugely successful run at film festivals world wide, HOUSE OF THE TIGER KING was selected for the BFI & SIDF tour of the UK (Feb-March -05). The tour launched Feb 4th with a sold out screening at the National Film Theatre, London.
:: The British Film Institute together with the Sheffield International Documentary Film Festival On Tour celebrate real life dramas, comedies and tragedies from around the world. Presenting a selection of highlights from the annual Sheffield festival, the tour kicks of in February 2005 with a weekend of films at the National Film Theatre in London. The tour will then visit venues across the UK. |
