Writer Tahir Shah decides to leave his home in London and move to Casablanca. After only a few weeks in his new house the workers and servants convince Tahir that, after standing empty for a long time, the house is haunted by evil spirits. Even though Tahir has his doubts he decides to hold an exorcism in order to get rid of the jinns (spirits). Jinns are mentioned in the Koran, hence nobody in a muslim country can dispute their existence. While the preparations for the exorcism are under way, we search the streets and bazaars of Morocco in order to find out more about these spirits. And as Tahir's many guest arrive from Europe, USA, Mexico and India we take the opportunity to interview them and to get their thoughts on what they are about to experience.
While filming the camera suddenly stopped working. It turned out that the batteries had been switched around, without anybody opening the camera. We also found tape drop-outs and sound glitches throughout material shot in specific parts of teh house, before the exorcism took place, not aftewards. Back in London the camera was sent to service, but nothing was found wrong with it.
