Erika ?kvist had graduated in fashion design in Malm? as Caravan Film was crewing up for its shoot of the feature SUMMERTIME in the summer of 1995. She came on board as our costume designer. She came along a year later to Stockholm for NIGHT BUS 807 her responsibility now extended to set design and props. For LITHIVM she took on the production design creating the sets and clothes and among other moody images the characteristic "Angel" which is on fire as a background to the LITHIVM head title.
After completing duties as production designer on SHERDIL she took off to London to work for the BBC's Visual Effects department. After adding prosthetics and SFX to her toolbox she returned to do some digital effects for M?rten and David's experimental short SVITJOD 2000+ and after a feature as art director and prosthetics designer (Mad Dogs, dir. Ahmad Jamal, 2001) she is back with Caravan Film with a script of her own.
