As a 19-20 year old, Leon had travelled around in Europe making a living through playing and singing in the streets. 10 years later walking through Stockholm just having graduated from filmschool he bumped into a bunch of musicians some of whom he had known in his streetsinging days. It took one phonecall to get Swedish TV interested and he made a film on the streets of Stockholm with Don Partridge and Alan Young which was broadcast on peak-time although it was a documentary. |
